Jazz Festival to Sizzle Again in Kent - LCT August Monthly
The Litchfield Jazz Festival has come a long way in its 15 years, both in terms of growth and distance. As its name indicates, it began life in Litchfield, on a field behind the White Memorial Conservation Center. Litchfield Jazz Camp Guest Artist Delfeayo Marsalis Named 2011 NEA Jazz Master
The Marsalis Family, including trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis, has been named a 2011 National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master. We're proud to announce that Delfeayo Marsalis will be a LJC Guest Artist on Saturday, July 24th. He'll give a master class in the afternoon and a performance and conversation with the audience, "Jazz is Cool" at 7:30pm that evening. More »
