The Kent School campus is simply stunning tucked between the Berkshire foothills and the Housatonic River. It is the perfect setting for the Litchfield Jazz Festival and Litchfield Jazz Camp. The charming town of Kent (population less than 3,000) dates back to the early 1700’s. It's easy to get to—only 90 miles north of New York City—but it feels a world away. Kent is a beautiful place to visit.
The town is filled with locally owned shops – stellar restaurants, bookstores, boutiques, art galleries, cafes, antiques, chocolate shops and more. Outdoors visitors can enjoy over 87 miles of hiking trails. Seven local state parks and other area facilities offer opportunities for white water paddling, biking, golfing, canoeing, camping, and fishing and Kent Falls is just a few minutes north of town on Route 7.
