
Students have the option to attend for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks.

Camp fees includes all classes, nightly faculty concerts, jam sessions, one camp t-shirt, three excellent meals a day that feature local organic produce, plus admission to and performance on The Litchfield Jazz Festival and all its master classes. Residential student fees also include over-night accommodations in the dorm.
Festival Weekend Accommodations: If your Residential student is enrolled for Session 4 and would like to stay during festival weekend on Saturday August 6, there is an additional $60 fee.
Optional Private Lessons: You are welcome to add one optional private lesson per week when you apply. Lessons are $60 for a 1/2 hour and will be scheduled prior to your arrival at LJC. If you miss your lesson, a refund will not be issued, so make sure to confirm your lesson day and time. This is a great opportunity for one on one time with our master faculty.

$50 LATE FEE will automatically be charged for applications or payments received after June 1, 2010.
Partial or full scholarship support may be available for middle and high school students in financial need. Connecticut residents are given priority; although out of state students are eligible as well.
To Apply: Fill in the print or on-line application. Required for application; pages 1 & 2 of Tax Form 1040, 2009 and a $100 non-refundable deposit. Deadline: April 16, 2010. Notification: On or about June 7, 2010. Once you receive confirmation that your application has been received, please do not inquire about your status. You will be informed as soon as possible.
If all spaces are full, your deposit will be returned.
Tuition (but not deposit ) is refundable for emergency withdrawals until June 1, 2010. ALL payments are forfeit for withdrawal after June 1, 2010.

Included in tuition is a 3-day lawn pass for each student. If you would like your student to have Spring Center tickets you will have to purchase them separately. We encourage families to attend the festival with their students. Visit our ticket page for more information.
Note: All students are invited to perform on the second stage at the festival. The schedule is subject student availability and it is likely that only Session 4 students will perform with their combo. Students from Sessions 1 - 3 are invited to perform in organized jazz sessions. Learn more here.
