Project Poetry Live! has now affected a generation of students. Founded in 1995, PPL brings professional poets, artists, musicians, and dancers to work with 1,100 middle and high school students in five Connecticut school districts. They write poetry, attend writer's workshops, see their words become music, design sets and work with community artists translating their words into other art forms. Held at Kent School’s Mattison Auditorium on Saturday, February 6th from 4-6 PM, it features Kent’s own celebrated pianist Dolph Traymon, and professionals and outstanding young talents from Litchfield Jazz Camp.
