The Litchfield Jazz Camp team have developed a fun, informative, and interactive virtual enrichment program. This program will run for 6 weeks on Saturdays.   • Llitchfield Jazz Fest Presents – Mario Pavone ‘s Dialect Trio

    Bassist/composer Mario Pavone turns 80 on November 11th.  Like the postman undaunted by rain, sleet, snow or hail, nothing, not even a pandemic, will keep us from marking this major milestone in the life of a musician who deserves all the accolades we can bestow on him. Litchfield Jazz will host this tribute with Mario himself, drummer Tyshawn Sorey, and pianist Matthew Mitchell on October 23 from the Telefunken Soundstage. The performance, at 7:30, will be live streamed and free to the public, accessible through the Litchfield Jazz Festival website.

  • Jazz After Work – Free Nightly Faculty Concerts

    Jazz After Work, a series of free summer jazz concerts sponsored by Litchfield Jazz Festival, returns to Litchfield Jazz Camp in New Milford. Beginning July 10, the Camp’s all-star faculty performs Monday through Thursday nights for the full four weeks of the camp’s run. Student camper concerts happen every Friday evening and the public is invited to these as well. Concerts are held at Canterbury School’s Maguire Auditorium, 101 Aspetuck Road, beginning at 7:15PM nightly.
