10 Kids for $10,000!! - Give Jazz Camp Scholarships to Kids In-Need

Support a 2012 Jazz Camper! The not-for-profit Litchfield Jazz Camp has been profoundly altering the lives of their students for 16 years by awarding kids in-need the opportunity to attend one of the best summer Jazz programs in the country, Litchfield Jazz Camp. CT State Department of Education funds have helped us over the past dozen years to award need-based scholarship support to 25% of our students.  Last year our support was cut by $100,000. This year the Governor proposes another $80,000 cut. This will make it impossible for us to support an important scholarship program. Many Litchfield Jazz Camp kids who would not have had a shot at higher education have gone on to receive scholarships to college and made successful lives in music and other fields with the start Litchfield Jazz Camp gave them.

We will not be able to award scholarships on this level this year without your help!
