Litchfield County resident Hugh Hill, who has attended the free concerts for years, had this to say: “The Litchfield Jazz Camp is one of the very few efforts to keep jazz, one of America's truly original art forms, alive. Like a lot of jazz aficionados, I will always remember those magical jazz moments--  Miles Davis at Saratoga, Stanley Clarke at the Blue Note.  So when it happens at a local high school, it is more than special.

Litchfield Jazz Camp Faculty Concerts will be held Mondays through Thursdays.  While there is no admission charge, free will donation will support Litchfield Jazz Camp need-based scholarships.  Artists include the best players on the jazz scene today – guitaristDave Stryker, saxophonists Claire DalyGary Smulyan, and Don Braden, drummers Charli PersipSteve Jonhs and Matt Wilson and many more. A weekly performer roster will be posted at www.litchfieldjazzfest.com/calendar.
