2015 Offerings - Beer
A. Gallo & Company, Half Full Brewery and Yuengling have joined together and generously donated Festival beer in support of need-based scholarships to Litchfield Jazz Camp.
|Enjoy a selection of beers on tap (Bright Ale and Peach Wheat) from Connecticut's own Half Full Brewery. Half Full Brewery opened in 2012 and thanks to popular artisan crafted ales and upbeat branding it has successfully tapped into craft beer enthusiasm in Connecticut.|
|Enjoy Yuengling Lager provided by America’s Oldest Brewery. D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc is a family owned and operated brewery built on strong heritage and traditions with a commitment to producing the highest quality Lagers, Porters and Ales.|
|A. Gallo & Company in Litchfield, CT provides Miller/Coors/Import products to its customers in addition to a premier non-alcoholic portfolio of products including Snapple.|
The ALFRESCO wines represent purity and elegance. The results are perfectly 'Crisp, Fresh and Unoaked' wines. As the name says, they are ideal for summer and the outdoors. Moscato (2012) will be available for purchase.
Master Brands will be pouring Terre Promise Rosé (2012)imported from Provence. TERRE PROMISE is truly wine from the 'promised land'. It is born from a century-old family run vineyard, Château Henri Bonnaud, located perfectly in the world's premiere Rosé territory. There is no better way to celebrate summer!
Last, but not least, Master Brands will feature Nicolas Idiart Pinot Noir (2013. The wine is the namesake of winemaker Nicolas Idiart, founder of Maison Idiart and graduate of the renowned winemaking school in Bordeaux. This wine shows a beautiful ruby color and develops red berry flavors (cherry, currant and raspberry) mixed with licorice and spice.
If you are joining us for the Friends of the Festival Opening Night Gala on Friday, August 8, you will enjoy complimentary brews from Olde Burnside Brewing Company,. wines from Vandoren's private French vineyard, complimentary teas from Harney & Sons and water from Crystal Rock.
Please note that while you are welcome to bring a picnic on the lawn or enjoy the selection from our food vendors, you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol or glass onto the Goshen Fairgrounds for the Jazz Festival.
