Jazz Times Critics Poll Gives Top Honors To Many 2015 Jazz Fest Stars
Well, you’ve come to expect it, and we’ve done it again. Your trusted Artistic Director and talent picker extraordinaire Vita Muir thought long and hard about the lineup for our 20th year anniversary and considered your personal and survey responses. Jazz Times Magazine has just released their 2014 Expanded Poll appears in the March 2015 issue of Jazz Times Critics Poll – the views of 30 trusted contributors looking at artist achievements during 2014. Litchfield Jazz Festival Celebrates 20 Years of Great Jazz!
We’ve been waiting 20 years to tell you this: we’re celebrating 20 Years of Great Jazz at Litchfield Jazz Festival! ---The date: August 7- 9, the place: Goshen Fairgrounds. Because this year is a really big one, we are having that celebration begin at the end of June with a concert honoring the city of New Orleans, and continue with 35 free concerts across July/August and have its big blowout the second weekend of August with LJF@20 and a superb lineup.
