In the Junior High School Jazz Soloist category, there were two winners, both of them former Litchfield Jazz Campers!  Estaban Castro from New York won for piano, and Ian Munoz from Miami won on tenor saxophone. Our vocalists did us proud, with Undergraduate College winners in the Vocal Jazz Soloist category including Chloe Brisson who is now attending NEC, and Veronica O’Brien who was just featured at our Jazz & Friends scholarship benefit, now attending Frost School in Miami.  Another winner in this category Melinda Rodriquez, at Florida International University, will serve as TA to our vocal instructor Nicole Zuraitis.  Last but never least, the lovely vocalist Anson Jones from New York, now attending Groton School, won for High School Outstanding Performance in the Blues/Pop/ Rock category.  Bravo, Brava!
