The Jazz Fest After Party @ HANQ’S –

It’s a long-standing tradition for festival goers and the players among them to come together after the last act on the festival’s Saturday night for a party and jam session. This year we have great news. The 2018 Festival After Party is about 5 minutes from the Fairgrounds.

We will all gather at a terrific new restaurant-bar in Downtown Torrington.  Its called Hanq’s- (if you’re wondering: after owner Kris Kelsey’s dog). Kris gained his experience in entertainment at venues across the country—from Las Vegas to Foxwoods. Now the Northwest Connecticut native has brought it all home and launched his own w

ildly successful restaurant.

This place reads like the hippest of hip NYC clubs with a handsome bar, brick walls, butcher block tables, excellent food, and five-star drinks. Kris is excited to have us all and we are excited to be in the wonderful new space.  If it’s a warm night we can also gather on their spacious roof-top patio—won’t find that in a New York club!

If you are a player, bring your instrument.  Vocalist?  Bring your voice!  Albert Rivera’s Trio will be performing and running the jam.  Be prepared to stay as late as you like!
