Litchfield Jazz Festival’s Litchfield Jazz Presents series has a new home. Its 3-year-old live-stream series is now presented for both in-person audiences and live-stream listeners at the Poli Club at the Palace Theater in Waterbury. This series, runs in tandem and collaboration with New England Arts & Entertainment, opened with the Caili O’Doherty Quartet on March 24th, followed on June 2 by pianist Joe Alterman’s Trio with world-renowned clarinetist Ken Peplowski. Both shows were sellouts!
Our 2023 Fall season kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 24, with a Latin Jazz Brunch starring saxophonist Albert Rivera with Damian Curtis, piano, Richie Barshay, drums, Alex Ayala, bass and Marco Torres, percussion. On Friday, Dec. 1, the award-winning singer-songwriter Allegra Levy joins us. Look for more great concerts in the New Year.
Meanwhile, check out New England Arts & Entertainment summer season. They’ve got the Gerry Beaudoin Trio on June 30 and the great pianist Bill Mays on July 21st.
