Join us in Litchfield’s historic Milton Congregational Church for “Giving Thanks,” a free concert series hosted by Milton Music featuring the new 1898 Steinway Grand Piano. Presented by Litchfield Performing Arts & Milton Congregational Church, this event brings together pianist Blair McMillen and violinist Conor McMillen, a father-son duo celebrated for their classical and jazz talents.

Experience an afternoon of classical, jazz, and American standards with Blair, praised by The New York Times as “prodigiously accomplished and exciting,” and Conor, a young violin prodigy recognized by DownBeat Magazine and National YoungArts.

Reception: A reception follows the concert; all attendees are welcome.

About the Artists

Blair McMillen (Piano): Described as one of the piano’s “brilliant stars,” Blair is a Juilliard-trained musician known for his advocacy of contemporary composers and early keyboard music. He has graced Carnegie Hall, the Gilmore Keyboard Festival, and more. Currently, he serves on the faculty at Mannes, Juilliard, and Bard College.

Conor McMillen (Violin): At just 16, Conor is already an award-winning artist, having performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. A recent Litchfield Jazz Camp Talent Search winner, Conor studies under Grammy-nominated violinist Ben Sutin and continues to excel as a rising jazz and classical talent.
