Litchfield Jazz Presents will be at the Poli Club on December 1st with Litchfield Jazz Camp Alumna Allegra Levy! The event will have two separate shows one at 7 and another at 9.

Allegra will be joined by album an all-star, all-female band, with Carmen Staaf on piano, Allison Miller on drums, and Mimi Jones on bass.

Most jazz vocalists sing standards. Allegra Levy writes her own. From the plaintive title track of her boldly autobiographical debut album, Lonely City, to her critically acclaimed follow-up, Cities Between Us, the 30-year-old jazz singer-songwriter has penned a collection of harmonically adventurous originals steeped in the Great American Songbook. Levy, a native of Connecticut now based in New York, has been dubbed a “double-barreled talent” and “unquestionably one to watch” by JazzTimes magazine.
