This summer we welcome a very special first-time sponsor, North Coast Brewing Co. from Fort Bragg, California. North Coast is unique in the industry: they are true jazz benefactors with a special interest in jazz presentation and education.

We first heard about them from our master teacher, baritone saxophonist Claire Daly.  Claire’s quartet was  sponsored by North Coast to record and tour the release of the CD, Baritone Monk, to help  promote a special ale titled Brother Thelonious. This Belgian style ale was selected from 1,957 beers from 45 Countries to win the 2015 Gold Medal at the International European Beer Star Competition.

We are now one of the institutions fortunate enough to receive support from North Coast Brewing Co. Their outstanding brew will be donated to us and sold at the 2016 Jazz Festival for your drinking pleasure. Proceeds from all beverages sold at the Litchfield Jazz Festival will go to support Litchfield Jazz Camp and its scholarship program.
