Gearing up for the 22nd Litchfield Jazz Festival

Litchfield Jazz Fest is back, August 5 and 6 at Goshen Fairgrounds.  Under the banner Discovering Genius this year,  fest acts run for two full days and showcase young stars-in-the-making– vocalist Michael Mayo and pianists Joe Alterman, Julian Shore and 11-year-old prodigy Brandon Goldberg. A tribute to the great Benny Goodman is headed up by the electrifying clarinetist Ken Peplowski.  Sunday evening wraps with genius saxophonist and 2017 DownBeat Critics Poll Winner Rudresh Mahanthappa followed by John Pizzarelli playing Sinatra and Jobim.

Sure Litchfield Jazz Fest presents lots of famous people. This year is no exception. But come for the people you DON’t know! You’ll be glad you did!!
