Thank you

Litchfield Jazz would like to thank the generous people and organizations who helped make another year—the 22nd—of Litchfield Jazz Festival a reality.  The music was wonderful and the audience could not have been more enthusiastic.

Over one hundred volunteers helped run the festival, a corps of folks we could not do without. Many have been involved from our first fest.  Thanks to the Goshen Agricultural Society for allowing us to use their facility and thanks to our crafters, artists and food vendors for making an enjoyable weekend for our guests.

Special thanks go to major sponsors, National Endowment for the Arts, DownBeat, Republican American, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and the Connecticut Community Foundation.  Others who deserve our gratitude include the New England Foundation for the Arts, Crystal Rock, RS Berkeley, Connecticut GI, Steinway & Sons, The Les Paul Foundation, Collegiate Church Corp, Wyndham Southbury, WDNA 88.9 FM, Classical Tents, Torrington Savings Bank, Vandoren, CT Office of the Arts, Ingersoll Auto of Watertown, WSHU, AMR, JC ATMs, SIMI, Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi, Mark West, Casa Bacchus, The Velvet Devil Merlot, Fascia’s Chocolates and Telefunken. We also thank our many members and donors for their support.

A round of applause goes to all the talented professional musicians and Litchfield Jazz Camp students who made the fabulous music we all enjoyed and to the Litchfield Performing Arts and Litchfield Jazz Camp staffs for their enduring efforts and talents.

Sincerely,

Vita West Muir, Founder and Executive Director
